From 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, both directions of N. Lewis Street from U.S. 2 to East Main Street will be closed. Drivers will detour using U.S. 2 and East Main Street though local business traffic will be able to use East Stretch Street and Hill Street. Motorists should add some extra time to their drive.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway will be making repairs to the railroad crossing.
Also in Monroe, a lane of SR 522 at the Snohomish River Bridge will be closed from 7 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, as Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance staff do routine bridge inspection. Traffic will be flagged through the open lane and drivers should prepare for some minor delays.
