Turk senior Antonio Rivas breaks a tackle to turn upfield in the Turks' dominating 41-14 win over rival Granite Falls Friday night in Sultan. The six-foot, 175-pound running back rushed for 100 yards in nine carries. Senior running back Cooper Beucherie carried 25 times for 257 yards, three touchdowns and a two-point conversion.
Head Coach Murphy and Beucherie both gave full credit to the Turk offensive line for blasting big holes in the Granite Falls defense. The Turks stand at 2- 0 in the Cascade Conference and look forward to beating Kings next.
