The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office -áhas arrested a 49-year-old Spokane man for second-degree murder in the death of a 61-year-old Sultan man whose body was discovered outside by a passerby in the area of 132nd Street Southeast.
The suspect has not been identified, but the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office on Monday identified the victim as Donald Ray Hosier and his cause of death being strangulation and blunt force trauma to the head and neck.
The sheriff's office reports the suspect is believed to have killed Hosier during a confrontation last week, and sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said investigators arrested the suspect in Spokane.
