Future fishing phenom, 20 month old Randi Kizak, upon inspecting the first trout she caught at the Sultan Sportsmen's Club Kids' Fishing Derby on May 31, looks a bit troubled by the catch as her mom, Nicole Freidt, attempts to get her head back in the game and the rod back in her hands.
Freidt said, "It didn't help that the boy next to us was yelling, "Don't kill it; it has a family!'GÇ¥ during the fish inspection.
She must have gotten over her concerns; Randi won first place for most fish caught in her age group with four landed trout.
Other winners: Maya Moreno, Bucky Mattila, Harley Rowe and Josiah Coleman, most fish caught; Andrew Cook and Isabella Lamar, biggest fish.
