The annual Sultan Sportsmen's Club's Fishing Derby for Kids will be held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 7, at Ed Boucher's ponds on East Wisteria Lane in Sultan.
The derby is open to children 2-14 years of age, who must be accompanied by an adult. A grand cash prize will be awarded for the biggest fish caught, and there will also be cash prizes for most fish caught by a boy and girl in two age categories (2-6 and 7-14).
