A 78-year-old Sequim man was hospitalized after he reportedly failed to slow down for traffic and his Harley Davidson collided with the vehicle in front of him in Gold Bar on Sunday afternoon.
The Washington State Patrol reports the man was eastbound on State Route 2 around 3:10 p.m. when he struck the rear of a 2003 Audi A4 driven by a 27-year-old Bellingham man, who was not injured in the collision.
The motorcyclist was transported to Providence Hospital for his injuries.
