The Nock and Fire 4-H Archery Club is doing an "X's for Oso" fundraiser at the Washington State 4-H Shooting Sports Tournament May 16-18.
Many in the Snohomish County 4-H family were affected directly or indirectly by the mudslide in Oso, Washington. This is a way for our club to give back to the community and make a difference.
Last year at the State Tournament our Archers scored 72 X's. This year we are collecting pledges for each X (bulls-eye) the kids score. Donations are tax deductible. All money raised will be contributed to Oso relief.
If you are interested in more information or want to pledge, contact Lynn Chambers at nockandfirearchery@gmail.com. If you would prefer to give a flat amount, please make checks payable to Nock and Fire and write "Oso ReliefGÇ¥ on the subject line, then mail to Nock and Fire, PO Box 744, Monroe, WA-á 98272.
Sabrina Simmons is a 10-year-old 4H member.-á
