Darrell Arthur Binnie August 6, 1952 - July 29, 2020
Darrell passed peacefully at home on July 29th, 2020, at the age of 67. He was born in Seattle, Washington August 6, 1952, to Arthur and Carol Binnie. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Alex Binnie.
After graduating high school from John F. Kennedy in 1970, Darrell went on to Washington State University for one year in 1971.
Darrell proudly retired from the Mount Rainer National Park Service after 16 years in 2018.
He loved to hunt, fish, and had a soft spot for all his four legged friends. After retirement, he was a master gardener, and enjoyed the quiet life in Mineral of keeping up his yard and anything that would keep him busy.
Darrell was devoted to his wife “Casey” of 43 years, and his son Jason Arthur. He is survived by his mother Carol Clemensen, brothers Mike (Denise), Brett (Susan), and Todd, and sister Linda Tice (Don) and his extended family.
He was a kind and gentle soul, who was deeply grateful for all his family
and friends.
He will be extremely missed by all.
Celebration of life is August 22, 2020 from 2-6 pm @ The Mineral School.
