Kent passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 77 after a year long battle with cancer.
Kent was born in Hamilton, Ohio and ended up staying in Washington after a four year tour of duty with the US Air Force, which took him to Vietnam and other places.
After his tour of duty, he attended Bates Vocational School and became a general contractor, owning his own business.
He was a lifetime member of the Upper Nisqually Gun Club, belonged to the Lewis County Radio Controllers and Mount Rainier Radio Control Society until his health prevented him from participating anymore, was a volunteer fire fighter with District 21 at one time.
Kent leaves behind his wife of 50 years Connie, daughter Cynthia Dees, Granddaughter Ava Dees, Sisters Sherry Brubaker (John), Andrea Ogline (Mike) and many friends.
