Ronald “Grins” Pierce March 20, 1942 - October 21, 2021

Ronald Douglas “Grins” Pierce, of Eatonville, passed October 21, 2021, from Alzheimer’s disease, with his wife Smiles, and family by his side. He was born March 20, 1942, in Ponca City, OK. to Benjamin and Juanita Pierce. Ron moved to Morton with his family in 1958, where he met Smiles Noel. Ron graduated from Morton High School and Centralia Community College with an Associate’s degree. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Cappella University at age 70. Ron proudly served his country as a Sargent in the US Army Corp of Engineers in Korea, during the Vietnam War era. Grins was the Real Estate Broker-owner of Century 21 Magic, and Pierce Properties in Eatonville for 40 years. Grins continued working until Alzheimer’s stole his mind from him. Grins is survived by his wife of 58 years, Smiles, his son Brenden (Rinda) Eatonville, and his daughters, Ronda Litzenberger (Rowland) Eatonville, Karma Gacke (Brian) Eatonville, and Amanda Allen (Robert) Graham, sister Sherron Elledge of Reno, brother Terry Pierce of Morton, 20 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in Eatonville. Education was important to Ron, please make donation to Eatonville Dollars for Scholars, or Eatonville Ward Missionary fund. Graveside services will be November 12th at 10:00 am at the Morton Cemetery and a Celebration of Life with be on November 27th at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Eatonville Ward, 900 Erin Lane, Eatonville, WA.
