Lynne Christine Plotner-Pierce April 6, 1943 - May 24, 2022

Lynne passed away in her home in Surprise Arizona on May 24, 2022, after a 35-year fight with kidney disease. She was born April 6, 1943, in South Bend Washington. Lynne lived in Surprise Arizona and is survived by her husband Donald, son Edwin Foster, and sister
Beth Eng.
Lynne grew up in Eatonville Washington in what she said was the best place to grow up. She had many fond memories of her childhood friends and the city in general. A 1961 graduate of Eatonville High School she was in touch with her school friends until the end. One of her great joys was to attend the Eatonville Art Fair in August and reminisce with her friends. Lynne loved to travel and learn new things. Over the years she visited all 50 states and many countries, although she loved Arizona, her heart always came back to Washington.
A quilter and painter one of her many joys was the making and donating quilts to those in need. Over the past 20 years she and her group in Arizona donated over 2500 quilts to various women’s shelters in the Phoenix area in addition to the Veterans Hospital, Luke Air Force Base, and various veterans’ shelters.
Lynne will be buried in Menlo Washington next to her mother
and father. In lieu of flowers please make any donation to Hospice
of the Valley.
