Student art exhibit set May 29 to June 2

The BCJ Gallery in Morton is hosting an Art Exhibit of local high school students from May 29 to June 2.  

This exciting, first of a kind, free event will feature a variety of artwork from high school art students at White Pass, Morton, Mossyrock, Onalaska, Napavine schools as well as Homeschoolers.

The show opens on Wednesday, May 29 at 11 a.m. and runs through Sunday, June 2 at 4 p.m. Daily hours will be Wednesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A Gala Event on Friday, May 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., will offer family, friends and interested community members an opportunity to meet the artists and share conversation and refreshments.

The BCJ Gallery, part of the Roxy Theater, is located at 231 W. Main Ave. in downtown Morton, Washington. The Student Art Exhibit will take place at the Roxy Theater’s new addition, accessible through the BCJ Gallery.

The BCJ Gallery features monthly artists and rotating displays of fine arts and crafts from regional artists. It is part of the Fire Mountain Arts Council whose mission is to enrich our community life through the arts. More information is located at firemac.org.
