Bethel’s Braves did all their scoring in the first three periods against their cross-district rival Spanaway Lake and rolled to a 49-15 victory in a Pierce County League high school football game last Friday.
After leading only 7-6 in the first quarter, Bethel (2-1 in the PCL, 4-1 overall) reeled off 42 unanswered points in piling up leads of 28-9 at halftime and 49-9 after three quarters.
