In a duel between two of the 4A South Puget Sound League high school volleyball frontrunners, Graham-Kapowsin lost to Emerald Ridge 3-1 Wednesday but remained among the top four teams in the 4A South Puget Sound League high school volleyball standings.
G-K has a 5-2 league record, just one loss worse than Emerald Ridge, Curtis and Puyallup. The Eagles will face Curtis Oct. 24 in the final match of the regular season for both teams.
Against Emerald Ridge, G-K won the first game before being swept in the next three.
