“Able Mabel” Hegewald – August 3, 1918 to November 17, 2017

Mabel Hegewald, 99, of Tulalip, WA died of natural causes on November 17, 2017. She was born on August 3, 1918 in Sultan, WA.

Mabel was an avid Harmonica player. She was an expert storyteller and an aspiring writer. She was also a proud member of the Foxy Red Hatters and took creative writing classes up until she was 97 years old.

There’s been a special reunion in Heaven with those who preceded her in death: her loving husband, Bill, and her beloved children, Deanna, Dean and Ron.

Mabel is survived by her son Denny (Pam) of Spokane, WA. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, extended family and numerous friends.

A special thank you to all who visited and helped care for her, bringing joy to her last years.
