Five Tualco Grange Scouts earn Eagle rank

Boy Scout Troop 148, chartered by the Tualco Grange in Monroe, ended the year with five new Eagle Scouts.
Austin Sundseth earned his Eagle Scout rank by installing picnic tables and benches at Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville. Zak Nowlan built an outdoor amphitheater for Zion Lutheran School in Lake Stevens.-áHowie Aikins planted trees and built an outdoor storage shed for the Fryelands Elementary Nature Park in Monroe.-áJacob Adams designed, built, and installed a historic model train snowshed for the Western Heritage Museum in Monroe.-áChris Olson refurbished tables for the Tualco Grange in Monroe.
These projects combined totaled just under 1,000 volunteer hours.
Troop 148 was formed in 2008; these are their first Eagle Scouts.-áThe Troop anticipates having two additional Eagle Scouts this spring as they are in the process of finishing their Eagle projects.
