Molly Both - January 14, 1922 - December 2, 2017

Molly Both of Everett, WA, passed away on December 2, 2017, at the age of 95.  She was born January 14, 1922, to Peter and Katherine Miller in Unterdorf, Saratov, Russia.  In 1929 Molly and her family emigrated from Russia to Canada, eventually settling in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.  After graduating from business school, she worked in Vancouver, B.C. at McLennan, McFeeley, & Prior, a huge hardware store, and then at Vivian Engine Works.  She met Nick in Vancouver at the Victory Hall during World War II.  They were married in 1944 in Chilliwack, moving to Monroe, Washington in 1949 where they raised their three children.

Molly was devoted to her family.  She baked wonderful bread, knitted, tatted, crocheted and was always making something for someone.  She and Nick loved to dance Polkas and spend time with friends and family.    

Molly was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Katherine Miller, sisters Lydia Kelln, Martha Davis, and brothers Con Miller, Ed Miller, and Victor Miller.

Molly is survived by her husband of 73 years, Nick, her sister Esther (Gordon) Wirsz, son Ted (Lucie) Both, daughters Anita Both and Shirley Hagen.  She is also lovingly remembered by her grandson Norman (Sheila) Hagen and granddaughter Nikki (Mike) Fleming.  Her delight was her great-grandchildren Malia Velez, Devanie Fleming, Kasen Fleming, Henry Box, and Natalie Hagen.

The family would like to thank Hospice and Brookdale at Arbor Place for all their quality care and help.  There will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care Center of Providence Hospital in Everett, WA, or your favorite charity.
