Thomas Lee Trombley January 21, 1933 - December 6, 2016

Thomas Lee Trombley, 83, of Monroe, Washington passed away peacefully on December 6, 2016.  Tom was born on January 21, 1933 to Leona and Stuart Trombley.  Tom lived and worked most of his life in the Monroe area; logging, home building, and operating T8 Ranch Fencing Company with his son, Tim.  Tom spent many years on annual cattle drives in Ellensburg, reading books about local history, and watching sporting events on TV.  He was happiest riding horses, family holidays and events and holding court around the stove in the shop.  Tom also enjoyed spending time at their ranch in Tonasket.  Tom was a member of Monroe Eagles and Tualco Grange for many years.  
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Shirley, and their eight children:  Steve (Terry) Trombley of Worland, WY, Suzanne (Bruce) Mayfield of Las Vegas, NV, John Trombley of Monroe, Jane Trombley (Steven) of Republic, WA, Tim (Genny) Trombley of Monroe, Terri Darnelle of Monroe, Russ (Joy) Trombley of Bothell, WA, Greg (Anita) Trombley of Monroe, sister Cathy (Bill) McCain of Wasila, AK; uncles Roland Jones of Bremerton, WA and Dan (Jean) Jones of Everett, WA; 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stuart and Leona Trombley and sisters, Carrine Trombley Blair and Betty Trombley Cavner.
A memorial service celebrating Tom’s life will be held at East County Senior Center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe on January 7, at 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sky Valley Food Bank, 233 Sky River Parkway, Monroe, WA 98272 or the Monroe Fire Department, 163 Village Court, Monroe, WA 98272.
