Community made Art in Bloom a success

I want to thank the community for making Art in Bloom. held July 11-12, a great success. The first-time event took place at Founding Family Antiques in Eatonville. It began with a garden party Friday night and was followed by an arts show Saturday, with over a dozen regional artists showcasing their arts and crafts. I'd like to thank everyone who helped put on the event, including Chris Bivins, Vera Fair, Terry and Sharon Van Eaton, Nancy Iams, and the Eatonville High School volunteers. I also want to thank everyone who bought tickets, bid on the auction items, took time during an extremely hot day to attend, and to those that made donations. Together we were able to earn over $2,000 for our local food bank. It's great to be part of such a fabulous community.
