Many made Art in Bloom a success and community better

I want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who helped make Art in Bloom, held July 15-16, a great success. This year we raised approximately $3,250 for the Eatonville Family Agency and the food bank. It wouldn't have been possible without the work of organizers Nancy Iams, Terry and Sharon Van Eaton (who also donated the use of their fabulous garden), Chris Bivins (who also brought out his guitar both days), Vera Fair, Lynn Smith and Louise Carson. A shout goes out to all of the incredible sponsors and to an incredible group of artists and crafters. Thanks, too to the Eatonville cheerleaders and other high school volunteers who helped things run smoothly. And this year we also want to thank musicians Liana Nelson and Jason Hunter, who serenaded attendees on the violin and piano. Mostly, we would like to thank the community who came and participated, including those who made time the night before at the auction. You have all helped make this community a better place. Thank you.
