Jacqueline (Jackie) Henricksen

Jackie was born in Tacoma WA on April 22, 1930 and passed away at the age of 85 on December 18. 2015. She enjoyed having company and she always had homemade pie, cookies or cake to serve. She could, and often did, cook a great meal from her pantry in a moment's notice. Jackie loved working in her yard, and in the spring it was as eloquent and beautiful as she was. During her 67 years with her husband Ray, she wore several hats: Bookkeeper and administrator for two nursing homes they owned in Oregon, dispatcher and bookkeeper for their business at Lynch Creek Quarry, and she helped build and landscaped Tanwax Greens GC, the family-owned business, and throughout all that she was a hands-on mother of five. She loved going to luncheons and laughing till they cried with her "birthday club gals,GÇ¥ many of which she went to Eatonville High School with. Jackie is survived by her husband of 67 years Ray Henricksen of Eatonville, Larry (Lisa) Henricksen, Susan Henricksen, Gaille (Gary) Finley, Terry (Jim) Hatton, and Mark (Katy) Henricksen. She was often referred to as "cookie grandmaGÇ¥ by her numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Jackie will be laid to rest at a private family service at Bethany Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 30 at Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church, 22316 106th Ave. E., Graham. The family would like to give special thanks to Pioneer Place Memory Haven for their love and care. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages that donations be made to South Pierce Fire and Rescue #17 at 5403 340th St. E., Eatonville, WA 98328.
