John "ButchGÇ¥ Howard, 74, of Elbe died Oct. 10, 2014 in Puyallup. He was born Sept. 1, 1940 in Tacoma. John is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons Jeff, John, Jim. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. A memorial gathering was held at the family home Oct. 26.
