Parks offer free admission on MLK Day

Mount Rainier National Park will waive its entrance fees on Jan. 16, allowing the public to visit the park for free in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Admission will also be free that day at all state parks in honor of the King holiday.

Day passes at Mount Rainier usually cost $25 per vehicle. The daily fee at state parks is $10.
