Gary Henricksen passed away at his home on Oct. 7, 2007. Gary was born on Sept. 20, 1934, to Fred and Ann Henricksen. He had a sister, Rahma, and a brother, Harley, who preceded in death. Gary grew up in Ohop Valley. He graduated from Eatonville H.S. in 1952. Gary worked at the Game Farm, the state highway department, and logging with his father, but in December 1962 he started up his new business, Lakewood Car Wash. Opening day, they washed 462 cars. He retired from the car wash business in 1998. After retirement he returned to Eatonville in 2001, with his partner Lynette Burns. She passed in July 2017. He is survived by his son Don (Tina), granddaughters Tara, Brittany, Hayley and Lindsey, and his daughter Terri (Jim). Gary loved the outdoors, fishing, travel, motorcycling, and spending time with family and friends. We will miss you forever, you were deeply loved. We will cherish our memories. A celebration of life will be at the Eatonville Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m.
