Egg hunt a success in spite of cool weather

Sultan's Easter Egg Hunt, held on Saturday, April 19, was considered an enormous success by event volunteer Elizabeth Emmons.
In addition to the traditional hunt for eggs and candy, the event also featured a human-sized Easter Bunny who rode in on a fire truck, chauffeured by Fire District #5.
Many others helped put the event together, including the Sultan Lions Club, Brigitte Hallert and Keller Williams Realty, E & T After Hour Repair, Crosswater Community Church, Mountainview Christian Fellowship, The Rock Church, Sky Valley Co-op Preschool and the Gold Dust Days Royalty. Also, Melissa Carr assisted in event set up and helped with the preparation of the Easter goodies.
The event, a 50-year Sultan tradition, included face painting, a bouncy house, games, bake sales and, of course, an Easter Egg hunt.
